About Liska
Liska Mey holds a current Blue Card and is an accredited Professional Member of the Queensland Music Teachers’ Association (QMTA).
Originally from Gqeberha, South Africa, Liska is a classical violinist with a Master of Music in Music Technology from Nelson Mandela University. She is an experienced educator in bowed strings, music theory, and music history, with teaching experience ranging from high school level through to final-year undergraduate (Bachelor of Music) courses.
Alongside teaching, Liska enjoys collaborating with other musicians to provide live background music for events. She has performed extensively as both an orchestral and chamber musician.
Liska is currently based in Roma, Queensland, where she offers private tuition in violin, viola, cello, and music theory.

Exam Preparation Available For:
• AMEB Theory of Music (Grades 1–6)
• ABRSM Music Theory (Grades 1–8)
• Trinity College Music Theory (Grades 1–8)
