About Jordan
I have worked as an English tutor since 2017, although I have experience with various other subjects, including history, social studies, and creative writing.
Most recently, I have been worked as a tutor at the UW-Milwaukee Writing Center. There, I have collaborated with undergraduate and graduate students on outlining, drafting, and editing.
As a college instructor, I have taught courses in:
-Research and Writing Methods
-Film, Television, and New Media History
-Business Writing
Currently polishing a 250-page dissertation about American television.
I also have several years' experience as a professional journalist for an array of mainstream publications, and as a reviewer and editor for scholarly journals.
