About Tamara
Hello, my name is Tamara. I am a Technology Education student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and a passionate educator with classroom teaching experience. I currently teach Mathematics and Basic Technology at the junior secondary level and also teach Mathematics to primary school pupils.
Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy because I love helping students understand difficult concepts and gain confidence in their abilities. I believe every student can excel when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to develop problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
As both a university student and a classroom teacher, I understand the challenges students face and I am able to connect with them in a friendly, patient, and supportive manner. I am committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and actively participating in lessons.

My lessons are student-centred, interactive, and designed to make learning simple, practical, and enjoyable. I use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, class activities, and regular assessments to help students understand concepts and build confidence. Lessons typically last 1–2 hours depending on the student's needs and level. I am a Technology Education student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and an experienced classroom teacher currently teaching Mathematics and Basic Technology at the junior secondary level, while also teaching Mathematics at the primary level. My lessons are suitable for Primary 4–6 pupils, JSS1–JSS3 students, and learners who need extra academic support or examination preparation.
