About Sara
As an aspiring physician and current university student, I want to provide assistance to individuals based on my own experiences. I have been tutoring for the last 2 years, starting in high school and now being an official tutor at my university’s learning center.
I would love to mentor students that are following a similar path to mine, want advice for future endeavors, or just need help in doing well with a challenging workload. Attending tutoring sessions as I went through these classes was one of the biggest points to my own success. I want to pass down that expertise to fellow students. Education is incredibly important to me, so providing resources to others to promote their own success is a priority in my academic journey.

These lessons can be for anyone from high school to college level seeking to enhance their understanding of the subject outside of class. Having gone through all of the subjects myself in university level courses, as a tutor I can provide not just tutoring on the subject, but any valuable advice on how to succeed in these rigorous classes.
A typical lesson plan will consist of a 1-hour session that will depend on what the tutee wishes to review. Prior to the meeting, we will discuss what subjects are needed and any materials I should be aware of prior to the lesson. If needed, I can also provide additional resources for practice and review. During the lesson, we will use the time needed for efficient review using active recall and attentive learning techniques.
