About Maryia

I am a violinist from Minsk. I graduated from the prestigious music school in Minsk and later earned my Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. Driven by a constant passion for learning, I’ve participated in numerous international masterclasses, festivals, and academies, where I had the privilege of studying with some of the world’s most renowned violinists. Throughout my career, I have developed a versatile performance profile: Soloist – performing with orchestras and in recitals. Chamber Musician – co-founder of a piano trio and violin-piano duo. Orchestral Musician – performing with ensembles like the Utopia Orchestra under Teodor Currentzis. Alongside my performing career, I’ve always had a passion for teaching. Starting in my school years, I’ve been guiding students of all levels and ages. For me, teaching is not just about technique; it’s about inspiring students, helping them grow artistically, and building a true connection to the music.

Hello! My name is Maryia.
I’m a professional violinist with over 17 years of experience performing and teaching. I would be happy to guide you on your musical journey — whether you’re a complete beginner, an advanced player, or somewhere in between, and no matter your age.

What I Offer:
• Identification and resolution of technical challenges
• Help with learning your favorite songs and classical repertoire
• Concert and exam preparation
• Assistance with music school homework (especially for children)
• A personalized, student-focused approach based on your goals and learning style

My Teaching Method:

I was trained in the tradition of the world-renowned Russian classical violin school, known for its technical depth, precision, and emotional expression. I’ve also absorbed the values of Western European musical education, bringing balance, openness, and adaptability to my teaching style. This unique combination creates a structured yet flexible learning experience that is both deeply rooted in tradition and open to modern, personalized methods.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, pace, and personality. Lessons are friendly and encouraging — I believe that learning music should be an inspiring and enjoyable process, not a stressful one. Whether you’re preparing for a professional performance or just want to play for fun, you’ll find a supportive and thoughtful guide in me.
