About Ryan

I am a native English and Spanish speaker from the USA (Puerto Rican background). I have 7+ years of experience as a qualified teacher of languages in Australia and Nebraska and hold a master’s degree in Education in addition to a bachelor’s in International Relations and Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in French. I’m also a language learner myself-having studied French, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic. As such, I can help you to achieve your goals and can share with you the best methods I’ve used for myself and my own students.

About the lesson

As a NSW/VIC/QLD and USA-registered teacher of French, I am dedicated to creating a personalized and engaging learning experience tailored to your unique language goals. My methodology is designed to make learning French enjoyable and effective, ensuring you make steady progress in a supportive environment. Here's how I can help you:

• Customized Lesson Plans: Each lesson is tailored to meet your specific needs, whether you are preparing for the IB (International Baccalaureate) French exam or looking to enhance your conversational skills.

• Interactive Learning: I believe in the power of conversation. Engaging in regular conversational practice will boost your confidence and fluency.

• Comprehensive Skill Development: From listening comprehension and writing practice to grammar and sentence structure, my lessons cover all aspects of the French language.

• Vocabulary Expansion: Building a strong vocabulary is essential, and I provide targeted exercises to help you learn and remember new words effectively.

• Homework Support and Correction: Whether you need help with homework or want your writing corrected, I am here to provide guidance and feedback.

• Cultural Insights: Understanding the culture behind the language can make learning more meaningful. I incorporate cultural information to enrich your learning experience.

I work with students of all ages and ability levels, fostering an inclusive and motivating environment. My goal is to make your journey to fluency exciting and rewarding. Let’s take your French skills to the next level together!
