About Ayla
My teaching approach is centered on self-discovery and a mindful connection to your inner voice. Each lesson becomes a quiet space where you can listen inward and let your sound emerge honestly. I weave vocal journaling into our work so you can reflect, release, and understand your emotional landscape. Imagery shapes the way you feel your voice, helping you sing with color, intention, and freedom. Meditation and subtle breath work guide you toward ease, softening tension and grounding your body before a single note is sung. We explore vocal placement awareness so you can sense where your resonance lives and how it shifts with emotion. Phrasing intention becomes a gentle craft, allowing each line to carry meaning rather than just melody. Mental clarity before singing helps you arrive fully present, balanced, and open. I support learners who seek emotional grounding, creative independence, physical comfort, or growing confidence. Some need calm; others need courage; all need space to unfold. My role is to hold that space with care. Together, we blend technique with inner exploration, allowing your voice to express what words sometimes cannot. This journey is soft, intentional, and uniquely yours. And with each step, your sound becomes more connected, authentic, and alive.

I’m a singing tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I bring a creative, artist-centered approach designed for performers who shine in bands, open mic nights, and collaborative songwriting sessions. My work often focuses on genres like Indie Rock, Alt-Pop, and Acoustic Soul, helping singers discover the tone and texture that feel true to them.
I specialize in lyric writing, vocal texture, stage movement, and mic technique, guiding artists toward performances that feel both polished and deeply personal. My lessons blend emotional storytelling with solid vocal training, allowing each singer to connect their inner world with their outer sound. I believe that finding a signature style is a journey of experimentation, curiosity, and honest expression.
Together, we explore phrasing choices, emotional nuance, and the vocal colors that make a song come alive. I encourage performers to trust their instincts and bring originality into every step of their artistic process. Whether you’re developing your first setlist or refining your stage presence, I’m here to support your growth with clarity and creativity.
