About Katy
I have 4 years of experience voluntarily teaching English Literature at a GCSE level. I myself achieved 2 grade 9's in English when I did my GCSE's so I have a firm understanding of what makes a good essay according to the mark schemes used.
Part of my experience includes my time as a volunteer for Warwick University's Transformations programme, which is run to help GCSE students with a passion for English Literature begin thinking about the subject at a higher level. I therefore also have experience helping GCSE students reach the full extent of their potential, preparing them for further study.

I am a flexible tutor and I enjoy modelling my lessons around each individual student's needs, being extremely open to any feedback that will improve both my teaching style and the student's subsequent experience.
