About Hannah
I’ve found that students appreciate my down to earth, step by step approach to the writing process, and I genuinely try my best to make it less intimidating, as reading and writing have always been my greatest joy. I have experience as a peer writing tutor in college as well as freelance tutoring at all grade levels.

I’ve noticed that in my sessions, students often come to me overwhelmed by an assignment, so I break it down into simpler steps. We first focus on deciphering the assignment or prompt, then we develop an outline. I often will meet with them again after they’ve written the essay to work with the student as they proofread and edit their work.
I believe anxiety is one of the main roadblocks students face when it comes to writing, and I’ve found that breaking down the process into steps makes it less overwhelming.
