About Lucas
I am 37yrs old. Have been playing drums in bands since high school and have been giving private lessons to 4 students for 2 years. As well as a passion for music I very much enjoy seeing kids realise their own passions, getting the best from themselves and learn the value of hard work towards a goal.

My teaching method is in the initial lessons get the child playing to a level that they can have some fun and then begin working on the more intricate parts of drumming eg music reading, rudiments, syncopation etc.
In the early stages I use words such as 'apple' to describe a rudiment with two notes
'a,' 'pple' becomes Left, Right for example.
All lessons are hand written by me to cater personally to each student.
Also, can bring my guitar and amp for students to play along to and live their rock dreams in their home!
