I am experience in teaching Singapore Math and Engage math curriculum. I help students understand math concepts with manipulatives, drawings and math strategies. In reading I am an expert in Science of Reading (SOR) and Fundations reading intervention programs. This form of phonetic teaching of reading helps targets miscues and reading misunderstandings to help a reader become more fluent and a smooth reader. I use guided questions and discussions about texts can help with comprehension and vocabulary acquisition. My lessons are for students K-3 that need support in these subjects.
