Who I Am Hi, I’m Prajwal, a problem-solver, lifelong learner, and passionate educator with a deep love for science, mathematics, and technology. My academic journey has taken me from earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering in India to pursuing a Master’s in Machine Learning & AI in the UK, and now, I’m further expanding my expertise with a Master’s in Data Science in Australia. Whether it’s breaking down Newton’s laws using real-world examples, explaining Bayes’ theorem through everyday probabilities, or helping a student grasp the logic behind an algorithm, I make sure that learning is engaging, relatable, and interactive. I also tailor my teaching to each student’s unique learning style. Some students grasp ideas visually, while others prefer logical, step-by-step reasoning. Breaking Down Complexity – Making Learning Intuitive Whenever I tackle a new concept with a student, I don’t just explain what it is—I break it down to why it works and how it connects to the bigger picture. This is inspired by the first principles thinking approach used in physics and engineering. I encourage my students to ask: • Why does this formula work? • What happens if we tweak a variable? • How can we apply this concept in real life? By stripping concepts down to their core, we remove unnecessary complexity and make learning feel intuitive and engaging. 2. Learning as an Optimization Process – Small Steps, Big Growth I often tell my students that learning is like gradient descent in machine learning—you don’t jump to the solution in one step; instead, you make small improvements with each attempt.
