About Caoimhe

I recently graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Environmental Biology and am currently completing a Master's degree in Marine Biology in Stockholm, where my research focuses on geomarine science.

Having achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Biology, I understand both the curriculum and the skills needed to succeed in exams. My university studies have given me a strong foundation across a wide range of biological disciplines, allowing me to explain even the most challenging concepts in a clear, engaging, and relatable way.

I am passionate about biology and the natural world, and I genuinely enjoy helping students gain confidence in the subject. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent exam results but also to inspire curiosity and an appreciation for the fascinating science that underpins everyday life. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where every student can reach their full potential.

About the lesson

Having achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Biology and continued my studies in the biological sciences at university, I offer personalised online grinds for both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Biology students.

Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are looking to strengthen their understanding of key topics, improve exam technique, or work towards achieving top grades. I can help with:

Cell biology and genetics
Ecology and ecosystems
Human anatomy and physiology
Plant biology
Microbiology
Evolution and biodiversity
Scientific investigations and practical experiments
Exam technique, structuring answers, and effective revision strategies

Lessons are delivered online and typically last 1–2 hours, allowing plenty of time to explain concepts clearly, work through exam questions, and answer any queries. After each lesson, I provide manageable revision exercises to reinforce learning without placing unnecessary pressure on students alongside their other subjects. Every lesson is designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and maximise exam performance.
