Hi, I’m Rahima Banu, a dedicated primary teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary) at Victoria University of Wellington.
Teaching is my passion, and I love helping children grow in confidence and enjoy learning. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and a positive environment.
With my experience working with primary students, I am able to adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities. I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping each child build strong foundations and reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Rahima Banu, a friendly and experienced primary teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, currently studying at Victoria University of Wellington.
I love helping children feel confident and enjoy learning. My lessons are personalised to each child’s needs and focus on building strong skills in maths, reading, and writing. I use simple explanations, fun activities, and plenty of practice to make learning engaging and easy to understand.
Lessons usually run for 45–60 minutes and include revision, new learning, and practice. I teach primary students (Year 1–6) and support learners of all abilities.
I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where children feel comfortable to learn and grow.
