About Sophia
I grew up in a French-speaking home️, where language and learning were always a big part of my life. From a young age, I developed a love for problem-solving, which led me to compete in Waterloo math contests, where I challenged myself with complex equations and logical puzzles. At the same time, I sharpened my communication and critical thinking skills through Queen’s debating tournaments️, learning how to articulate arguments and think on my feet. Fun fact—before diving into academics full-time, I spent most of my adolescence as a professional ballerina in New York City! Dance taught me discipline, perseverance, and precision, qualities I now bring into everything I do. I approach every challenge with the same dedication and passion. Now, as a full-time student heading to McGill University, I’m excited to share my knowledge and help others succeed in STEM and languages. My unique mix of analytical thinking, creativity, and structured discipline makes learning both effective and engaging. No matter the subject, I believe that with the right approach, anyone can build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals!
