About Opal

In both professional somatic therapies and creative settings, I've found the importance of integrating both fields as a way to holistically ground yourself in an authentic sense of self.

By understanding the individual nuances we all hold, learning what container we need and what we need to fill it with to become a recyclable process we can apply at different stages of our life.

About the lesson

I specialize in exploring and building up one's sense of identity through discussion and weekly tasks/activities. By integrating creative solutions and somatic awareness into our process, my work offers the space to internally and practically discover new parts of yourself and build the confidence for hidden ones to become seen.

My approach is compassionate, relational, and collaborative. Together, we work through:

- Relational discussion: Exploring your story, values and live experience in a safe, open environment
- Creative solutions: Drawing on creative practices to uncover fresh ways to uncover yourself
- Weekly tasks/activities: Practical, tailored exercises to ground your discoveries in everyday life

I work from an inter-cultural, trauma-conscious, and anti-oppressive perspective, offering support and guidance for clients who are identity searching and/or identity struggling.

Background:
I work with adults and welcome those with alternative lifestyles, cultures, bodies, and gender identities. I enjoy working with diversity and those who have experiences of being 'different' or not quite fitting in in their life.
