About Nadine
I am originally from the UK and hold a BA (Hons) in Fashion Textile Design, with over ten years’ experience working professionally in the London fashion industry as a stylist. During this time, I worked with fashion magazines, music artists, and universities, gaining experience across editorial, commercial, and educational settings.
Alongside my industry work, I have lectured and delivered workshops at institutions including London College of Fashion and the University for the Creative Arts, supporting students in developing strong portfolios, technical skills, and creative direction.
Now based in Australia, I continue to work creatively as a practicing artist skilled in watercolour, sewing, textiles, and mixed media. I previously homeschooled my own children, which deepened my understanding of flexible, student-led learning and the importance of nurturing creativity and confidence.
My teaching approach combines strong technical foundations with hands-on experimentation across fashion illustration, textiles, print, and garment construction, encouraging students to explore ideas while building practical skills.

My lessons are engaging, hands-on, and student-led, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and individual expression. I nurture creative confidence through structured guidance, practical demonstrations, guided practice, and supportive feedback.
I design personalised, project-based learning experiences built around each student’s interests. Whether inspired by fashion design, illustration, textiles, mixed media, or creative garment projects, I shape lessons to make learning meaningful, motivating, and enjoyable.
Sessions are typically one hour, with longer in-person workshops available. Lessons can be adapted to suit different ages, abilities, and goals — from younger students exploring their creativity to teens developing portfolios or refining their artistic direction.
Where appropriate, I integrate relevant design theory and foundational art principles to deepen understanding and support more advanced study.
My aim is to create an inspiring and supportive environment where students feel confident to explore ideas, take creative risks, and develop their own unique style.
