About Midori
Hello! My name is Midori and I’m a professional cellist and singer with 10+ years of teaching experience. I graduated with a Masters in Cello Performance (Distinction) from the Royal Academy of Music. I am a regular international touring musician in Pop, Folk, Jazz, Classical and Improvised music. I would absolutely love to help you on your Cello journey at any age and any level. My lessons are tailored to each student's wishes. So whether you are a total beginner, want to play Classical music or want to learn your favourite Taylor Swift song on the cello, or learn to improvise, I will listen to your playing and give you helpful technical, musical and psychological pointers. And you will have a good time! I believe that music education is all about enabling people to express their humanity and personality, and that it should all be approached with a good sense of humour.
