About Ashton
I have been tutoring in mathematics since my first student when I was 16 years old. I have taught every age from 7 year olds whose parents want them to get ahead to adult college students working on Calculus classes. My students can expect one to two letter grade increases in their scores. I have helped students pass classes, earn A letter grades, and finish graduation requirements.

I started tutoring privately throughout high school helping students raise D letter grades to A letter grades. This continued professionally at Mathnasium and at ASU.
I follow a simple pattern that is proven to help remember mathematics process which in turn enables the student to use their skills to succeed in class. The best part is that this isn't a way of learning to pass a test. A deeper understanding is created so that students retain and remember the logician's skills learned and can leverage their knowledge for the rest of their life.
I'm patient when it comes to the student and understanding of the potential challenges and often times gaps in knowledge required to learn more advanced concepts. I do require that the student is putting a good faith effort to learn.
