Perfect! 5+ I highly recommend Fynn as a chess coach! I went from knowing next to nothing to being able to play a full game. Fynn is incredibly patient, using interactive boards to break down complex movements—like the L-shaped knight jump and range of the queen—into simple, manageable steps. Fynn made sure I was ready at each step before moving onto the next. I’m already looking forward to our next lesson! [My husband bought me chess lessons as a surprise Christmas present, as I'd always wanted to learn to play.]

Had my first lesson today with Fynn, and can say it was definitely a beneficial and worthwhile experience. Really appreciated that the lessons were tailored to my individual strengths and weaknesses based on my past games.

Also Fynn was excellent at explaining and communicating the relevant concepts, and provided further resources for development. I liked that complex concepts were broken down and simplified into smaller principles for better comprehension. Fynn clearly has a very deep understanding of the game and has a lot of knowledge to pass on to students.

Fynn was great to work with, and I'm looking forward to future lessons. Highly recommend him as a coach.

Excellent Chess coach. After going through my past games and talking to me, Fynn gave me his detailed analysis on what my strengths are and where I can improve. He broke down the broader game skills into several smaller subskills and taught me how to go about analyzing my games. He has a very good understanding of chess. I went through some of his games on Chess.com and he is brilliant. I would gain from his immense knowledge on endgames, tactics, calculations etc., Looking forward to more lessons from him, and I would highly recommend anyone who wants to improve their game to reach out to Fynn.
