About Maria
I am a 2nd Year student at the University of Glasgow studying Music and Film and Television. I achieved A grades in National 5 and Higher English, History and Drama in school and always scored well on my essays in these subjects. I am relatively new to tutoring but I have always enjoyed helping friends and family of all ages with their school and university work. My area of expertise and knowledge is now Film and Television but I am well equipped to help with general essay-writing skills as well as essays for subjects such as English, History and Drama. I am extremely patient and open to working with students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

I am halfway through my degree at Glasgow University and would be an excellent choice to tutor students studying Scottish SQA Qualifications such as National 4/5 and Higher. However, as essays are commonplace in most courses I am also suitable to tutor students studying other qualifications such as GCSE, A Level or even 1st Year at University. My teaching approach is completely based around the needs of each student, the best results are achieved by getting to know what works best for you, how you like to learn and trying to encourage your understanding rather than your memory. We can work on just one subject or all of your essay subjects, I can help you just start or finish essays or I can help you throughout your essay-writing process it is totally up to you.
