About Zinique

Hi there! I'm Miss Zinique, and I'm super excited to be your tutor for Grades 4-7. I'm almost done with my Bachelor of Education degree, which means I've learned all about how to teach fun subjects like English, Afrikaans, Math, Social Sciences, EMS (that's Economic and Management Sciences), and Natural Sciences. I got interested in teaching because of my amazing grandpa, he always said it's a "noble profession" that helps shape awesome people like you. Growing up, my own teachers were like heroes to me, especially when things were tough at home, like dealing with family changes or feeling sad. They showed me kindness and helped me become strong. That's why I love teaching: I want to create a safe, fun space where we build resilience (that's getting tougher when things are hard), think critically about the world, and learn life skills that prepare you for anything life throws your way, not just school stuff. Together, we'll do hands-on projects, play games, and explore real-life adventures to make learning exciting and help you become confident, curious superstars!

About the lesson

I'm a student almost done with my teaching degree, and I'm great at helping kids in Grades 4-7 with subjects like English Home Language, Afrikaans, Math, Social Sciences, EMS, and Natural Sciences.

Afrikaans: R160 per hour
Mathematics: R200 per hour
Social Sciences: R150 per hour
Natural Sciences: R150 per hour
English Home Language: R180 per hour
Economic and Management Sciences: R150 per hour

Travelling costs: I charge R10 per km and only travel a maximum of 20km.
