About Joshua
I am a final year medical student graduating this summer, and will start work as a Dr in London this August. Previously I have studied a BSc and MSc graduating with first class and distinction. I sat both the UCAT and GAMSAT to gain entry to medical school, interviewed and received offers from all my choices. During medical school, I have tutored and educated fellow students in order to gain entry to medical school as well as pass exams. As a member of one of the first cohorts to sit the UKMLA I am uniquely positioned to provide insight, support and technique for this exam specifically. Teaching will progress on a spiral learning basis, with feedback, reflective techniques and testing built in to encourage self-actuating learning. With a focus on information processing, to ensure understanding and practical application, that will last throughout your career rather than rote learning just to pass exams. The content will be relevant to the UCAT, GAMSAT and UKMLA curriculum, with additional guidance and support throughout exam and interview periods. The lessons will be built on years of experience educating students in all areas of medicine, developed throughout my time in Medical School as well as previous BSc and MSc in Physiology. Sessions are for all levels, from those finishing A levels looking to gain entry to medical school, to those at any level of the curriculum who are looking to further their learning either in specific subject or a more generalised curriculum. Sessions are bookable in 30 or 60 minute slots.
