About Abi
I am final year Medical Student from Barts and The London Medical School and I am soon to start foundation training as a Doctor in South London in July 2022. I also hold an BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology. My goal is to help other medical students and aspiring medical students achieve their ambitions to also become doctors.
Having only very recently completed my final exams, I have a current and thorough understanding of the medical school process and exams, which I'm passionate in sharing to help young students.
Overall, I am a hard-working and organised individual that has proven results with previous students and a willingness to help you on your journey into and through medical school.

My lessons are aimed for current medical students, aspiring medical students and students from medicine allied courses such as: Physician's Associate and Biomedical Science.
*What I can offer* :
- I specialise in medical tutorials and OSCE teaching.
- I support medical school applications by offering personal statement review and advice as well as high-quality interview support.
- I provide PBL/ Essay/ Dissertation support, review and proofreading.
- I provide support for Medicine Allied University Courses such as: Physician's Associate and Biomedical Sciences
*Previous Qualifications and Experience* :
- I have worked with multiple aspiring medical students to successfully secure multiple offers, through helping them with personal statement guidance and high-quality MMI and panel interview guidance. I, myself, during my own application process received 4 interviews and 4 offers !
- I completed my Student Select Component in Medical Education, where I dedicated time to all aspects of medical teaching, for the needs of students from Year 1 through 5.
- I guided multiple medical students through OSCEs, an exam which is often a cause of anxiety for many. I have run group and 1:1 OSCE tutorials as well organised mock OSCEs. I also have experience in writing OSCE stations.
- I am partnered as a OSCE peer tutor with Quesmed.
- I have run 1:1 medical tutorials for multitude of students, on topics of their selection.
- I have insight into medical exams as I have contributed to my university's SBA/ MCQ question bank, and thus, am informed in guiding exam technique.
My teaching techniques are adaptable to the needs of each student in order to provide a personalised teaching experience. I like to identify gaps in my student's knowledge and use them to guide the session. I also encourage lots of questions and maintain an open line of communication.
My lessons are either 45 minutes or 1 hour long in one session. I feel anything more leads to brain and screen fatigue resulting in loss of productivity.

Having had lessons with Abi for the past 2 months, I can genuinely say my ability and confidence in learning medicine has greatly increased. Very good at explaining difficult concepts and has a nice variety of teaching methods to drill the point across. One of the biggest reasons I was able to pass 3rd year finals!
Abi is a great tutor! She helped me with my whole medical school applications for which I have so far completed all 4 interviews, already received 2 offers and am awaiting a response from further 2 universities.
