Hi! I'm currently in my final year of studying Medicine at the University of Oxford having previously graduated with a BA in Medical Sciences. I achieved 10 A*'s at GCSE and 4A*'s at A level (Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry).
I have 1000+ hours experience of tutoring GCSE and A level subjects to a range of abilities, as well as tutoring undergraduate students at the University of Oxford. I usually find it most helpful initially if the student has some subject/topic specific questions that we can discuss and work through. We can then develop a plan and time frame to ensure that goals are met and particularly problematic areas are adequately covered. I will usually use relevant past paper questions to direct the session; I can then divulge into further detail of a subject if it is clear that it has not been clearly understood. I also encourage active student feedback so that my teaching style can be tailored to how the student feels they work best!
