About Chana
I am a final year voice student at Monash University, specializing in popular music. I love to teach, and I have a strong belief that singing is for everyone, no matter your age or musical background. I have over ten years of experience singing in a variety of contexts, and I'm always trying to learn new things, and helping others to learn too. I believe that learning to sing should be an intellectual, physical and emotional journey, where you can learn the theory and science behind singing, strengthen vocal muscles and techniques, and emotionally connect to each song and express yourself.

My lessons are highly personalised while still providing a strong technical basis for singing in any genre. I love to teach beginner and intermediate students of any age, and cover areas such as recorded and live performance skills, music theory and aural, improvisation and composition, and a variety of genres such as music theatre, jazz, folk, pop and classical. I offer 30min and 45min lessons depending on your age, skill level and preference. Lessons are at my house in Chadstone. Unfortunately I am not offering webcam lessons or lessons at your home at this time.
