About Nico
Those who enjoy maths tend to enjoy that answers are either right or wrong. It's therefore frustrating when we are given the correct answer, but cannot find why ours is wrong (textbooks don’t usually offer solutions)! I found that when this happened I became demotivated. Hopefully, having access to a tutor will not only enable students to answer these higher mark questions in the exam, but also prevent them becoming demotivated in this way. Maths is fun - but only when you’re getting it right!

Will find out the relevant subject areas covered for the student's particular exam board, and then find what subject areas they are less confident in. Questions will be selected from their textbook and online resources to be completed outside of class, so that only questions that the student could not do are covered in lessons - maximising their learning in the 1 hour period. The questions will vary in difficulty, including those of the highest difficulty required for the exam board. If the student prefers not to, or cannot, complete work outside of lessons, we will go through the questions together in the lesson. Once the student is feeling more confident in the individual subject areas we will go through past and example exam papers for their exam board.
