About Andrew
I am a final-year Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems student based in Leicester. I am Malaysian Chinese and a native Mandarin speaker, with experience helping friends improve their Chinese informally.
I want to teach Mandarin because I enjoy helping people learn Chinese and I understand how difficult learning a new language can be. My aim is to make Mandarin feel less intimidating by explaining things clearly and adapting lessons to each student’s pace.
My lessons are patient, friendly, practical, and beginner-friendly. They are suitable for anyone who wants to learn Mandarin but does not know where to start, or anyone who has tried learning before but finds it difficult to keep up.

A typical lesson is 1 hour, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. My lessons are suitable for beginners, school students, and anyone who wants to build confidence in Mandarin.
