About Haris
I have always been good at maths, but it wasn't until my last year of high school when I really began to find joy in maths, and consequently decided to persue a degree in pure mathematics, and also start teaching others. After over two years, I know I made the right choice. I now know that without patience and hard work, anyone can excel at maths and feel the same kind of satisfaction after solving a seemingly impossible problem which I feel.

It is said by some that 'Mathematics is not a spectator sport'. What is meant by this is that doing well in maths is about actively mathematics, most commonly in the form of doing many different kinds of problems. This is different from other subjects. In the sciences for example, how much time do you spend actually doing science, that is, performing experiments?
For this reason my lessons are centred around doing maths, rather than slogging through textbook content. They are usually an hour long, and most of the time is spent going through problems.
My teaching is mostly aimed at students doing university level maths.
