About Angelique
I have completed three years of my four year Bachelor of Education degree in the foundation phase. I have been teaching for 7 years in a formal school setting and I have assisted learners with their homework and provided tutoring services for learners up to Grade 3. I love my making my lessons fun and interactive to engage the learners and ensure effective learning is taking place. I have completed my training in Neuronet, Knowledge Network and 120 hour online TEFL course.

I prefer to use Total Physical Response with the younger learners as it allows them to gain a better understanding of the contant being taught. I feel that the younger learners learn through 'doing' and adding an element of fun to the lessons will cement their understanding and allow for a more effective teaching and learning experience. The content should be age appropriate and the teaching approaches used should be adapted according to which approach works best for them as not all learners learn in the same way.
