About Lara
I'm Lara, someone who didn't have the best teachers when doing my own GCSEs, with the exception of my maths teacher. I teach with full understanding of how difficult and stressful GCSEs are, especially since the 9-1 grading system was brought in. I was among the first year to take those new exams and achieved an 8 in the higher papers. I look forward to getting to know you, your strengths and your weaknesses and help you get the best grade possible.

I aim to tailor sessions to your specific needs, so please send me a list of the topics you are particularly struggling with. I will also help to consolidate knowledge of topics already learned so that students are able to tackle everything that comes up in an exam.
My main method of teaching will be using past papers as I believe previous exam questions are the best representation of the things that will come up on the day. I will focus on the best way to interpret questions to properly understand what is being asked and how to approach answering questions in the most efficient way.
Typical lesson length is an hour.
