About Ani

Ani Djirdjirian is a singer/songwriter, recording artist, and actor from NYC with over 20 years of performance experience. She is a vocal major alumna of the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in NYC and holds a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance, with additional performance certificates from the Atlantic Acting School and T. Shreiber Acting Studio. Her eclectic vocal training spans classical music, jazz, musical theater, pop, r&b and soul.

Ani guides performers to unlock their authentic voices with the confidence to shine without fear. She understands firsthand the impact cultural tradition, environment, and upbringing hold over vocal expression. With both a Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work, Ani's holistic approach to becoming a more captivating performer stems from her training in trauma work and how past wounds hold singers back from accessing their true light. She has a gentle yet honest approach, and focuses on empowering clients and improving technique through their unique strengths.

Perhaps you were told you had to sound a certain way your whole life and faced criticism that left you unable to explore how you really wanted to sing naturally. For neurodivergent folks, you may have had to mask your true self your whole life. Or maybe you come from a community that looks down upon outspokenness, leading you to develop a fear of speaking your mind.

I am a trauma-informed life coach, holding both a BSW and MSW, and I use a holistic approach to unblock what's holding your voice back. With over 16 years of classical vocal training and performance experience on stages across the country, including singing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, I'm excited to get to know your goals and guide you to transform. Not only will singers discover their true potential, but your voice is your power. You deserve to be heard; your message matters. I want to help you get it out.

In our sessions:

- For singers/actors, we'll discover all the different layers of your voice and how to use your instrument to create a breathtaking, emotionally connected performance that will leave audiences wanting more
- I'll shake you out of your stage fright and teach you to be your most confident, authentic self as a performer
- We decondition the body and mind from limiting beliefs that hold you back from speaking and expressing yourself authentically
- We'll build a stronger sense of self-trust, self-confidence, and self-love

Okay I’m a total newbie, and I came to voice lessons really not knowing what to expect. But it’s been great! I’m only 5 lessons in and already I find myself driving along in my car singing with the radio and using the techniques Ani’s taught me for vocal placement, clear sound etc. It’s WILD hearing my own voice and being like “hey that’s not half bad!” She’s incredible. Super patient, attentive and communicative. She’s really good at helping you feel comfortable to try things, which then allows you to see what your voice can do! 100% recommend working with Ani. ️
