About Isabella
Hi!
My name is Isabella, I am originally from the north of England but have grown up in Portugal and Indonesia!
I am a Fine Art Undergraduate with a passion to teach and inspire students.
I aim to help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. Unlike in a classroom setting, I will be able to provide individualised attention making sure the student understands and is up to date with all the work. I always try to make the lessons as fun as possible ensuring my student leaves the session with a greater understanding, motivated to keep learning and with a smile on their face.

My main goal is to motivate and inspire students to want to learn. I am always enthusiastic and friendly making sure the students know our lessons are a safe space where there is no fear or embarrassment in making mistakes. I try to incorporate fun activities and games if I feel the student is becoming less engaged in the session. A typical length of a lesson would be 45 minutes. I have been a tutor forone year and have IGCSE, IBDP qualifications in all the subjects I offer to tutor. I teach Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 maths and english, any age or ability Portuguese as a foreign language and up to GCSE Level biology.
