About Darcy
My name is Darcy, I enjoy all sports, particularly Netball and Hockey, where I represent the school in all tournaments. I have also played tennis from a young age and attended Brownies until I left primary school. Recently I have taken up paddle boarding and skiing, I enjoy trying new things that are out my comfort zone.

My lessons will be an hour to 2 hours long depending on the students preference. For GCSE studentswill start with some knowledgebased teaching then in the second halfof the lesson focus on how to answer exam style questions and what is expected for the top grades. I also have several model essays that are of A* worthy material I can share and run through. I will also do some quizzes at the end of the lesson so the the students attention is not lost. In my GCSES I got an A* in both English Language and English Literature and this was when the new specification came out that is currently used at the moment soi am up to terms with this. For ks34 students we will work through some worksheets and address any areas of struggle and find the best way of overcoming this.
