About Yoana
Hi! I am a First-Class Computer Science Graduate and currently a Software Engineer.
Programming, algorithms and data structures, databases, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and software engineering are just a few of the many subjects I gained a solid foundation in during my computer science degree.
During my degree I completed an industrial year at Nissan where I gained useful experience resolving technical issues and collaborating with a skilled software engineering team while working on software automation and cybersecurity projects.
When I'm not doing computer science things, you will probably find me watching my favourite show - Modern Family! :)

Since every student learns differently, I modify my lessons to fit each student's needs, abilities, and test board. I'll design lessons that concentrate on the areas where they most need help, whether they're trying to improve their exam approach, are having trouble with programming, or are getting ready for GCSE or A-Level Computer Science.
In order to make our time together as productive as possible I like to have a free introduction discussion with the student before we start regular tutoring in order to learn about their objectives, pinpoint any subjects they find challenging, and make sure the student is comfortable with my teaching style.
Throughout my interactive classes, I encourage students to ask questions. Instead of just providing answers, I assist students gain confidence and comprehension by breaking down subjects into manageable chunks. To improve test technique, we'll work through examples together, rehearse programming when required, and utilise previous exam problems and mark schemes.
My aim is for every student to leave the lessons feeling more confident than when they arrived, with a clear understanding of what they've learned and what to focus on next.
