About Pranavi

I’m Pranavi, a First Class Computer Science graduate with a strong interest in technology, programming and data science. I will also be starting an MSc in Data Science at King’s College London.

I have experience teaching coding to primary-school children, where I learned how important it is to explain technical concepts in a simple, patient and engaging way. I have also worked with students in tutoring environments, so I am comfortable adapting my teaching style to different ages, abilities and learning speeds.

I enjoy teaching because I like helping students reach the point where a topic that initially seemed difficult suddenly makes sense. Computer Science can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when learning programming for the first time, so I aim to make lessons approachable, practical and encouraging.

Alongside programming, my interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and technology more broadly. I hope to use both my academic background and teaching experience to help students build confidence, improve their grades and develop a genuine interest in Computer Science.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, interactive and adapted to each student’s level, whether they are studying IGCSE Computer Science, IB Computer Science, or learning coding as a beginner. I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them into clear steps and combining theory with practical programming exercises.

I am a First Class Computer Science graduate and will be studying an MSc in Data Science at King’s College London. I also have experience teaching coding to primary-school children, which has helped me develop a patient and engaging teaching style.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can cover programming, algorithms, data structures, computational thinking, databases, computer systems, exam preparation and problem-solving. I can also help students practise coding in languages such as Python and develop stronger exam technique through past-paper style questions.

My aim is to help students not only achieve better grades, but also genuinely understand Computer Science and become more confident solving problems independently.
