About Daniel
I am a recent first-class graduate in economics from the University of Nottingham. Following this year I intend to embark on a Master's in Mathematics and Econometrics.
Over the summer I have found I have a passion for tutoring both mathematics and economics and so wanted to use Superprof as a way to meet with new potential students.
I am hard-working, very conscientious and love to come well prepared to a lesson to deliver the best support I can, in the limited time I have with a student.
I also believe that the best teachers I have had so far in my academic career, are those who have been able to see and nurture the potential within me and so I wish to replicate their methods of teaching.

My personal approach revolves around helping students improve their mathematical abilities by helping them find the enjoyment in mathematics and problem solving. Drawing upon my own experience of being a student who detested mathematics and would go out of my way to avoid it, to now embarking on a joint master's in maths and econometrics this following year.
I believe a mix of encouraging support and increased exposure to challenging problems, naturally leads to greater confidence and enthusiasm for mathematical problem solving.
My lessons can be flexible from 30 minutes to 2+ hours depending on the requirements of my clients!
My qualifications: A* A* A A in Economics, Mathematics, Sociology and EPQ.
A 1:1 degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
I also have previous experience tutoring fellow students at a degree and sixth form level.
