About Erin
Hi, I'm Erin! I am highly passionate about using my love and knowledge for science and medicine to help others succeed, and have gained a great sense of satisfaction from watching previous students grow and achieve their goals. I am a very approachable and enthusiastic individual, and I will do my very best to make sessions both useful and fun. I hold myself to a very high standard, which led me to achieve a first class honours degree from the University of Liverpool in anatomy and human biology, alongside receiving 4/4 offers for graduate entry medicine programmes in my final year of study. Having previously worked in a secondary school as a teaching assistant, I have gained a great insight into the science curriculum, as well as how to support students with a range of personalities and educational needs. Fully DBS checked.

I offer sessions highly personalised to each individual student based upon their preferred style of learning, either online or F2F in the Chester area. I have four years of tutoring experience, and further to this, over two years experience as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, supporting students of all abilities in both mainstream lessons and delivering 1:1 intervention sessions. My aim is for students to improve not only academically, but to gain confidence in themselves that is transferrable to all subjects, and simultaneously enjoy the process!

Erin was absolutely amazing this last year tutoring me for biology and chemistry GCSE and got me great grades in both. She works you hard but pushes you to be the best you can every week, going well out of her way outside of session hours to help!
Erin is a great tutor! Always so friendly to tutees and never makes you feel stupid for asking her something. She is very knowledgeable and is able to explain the most difficult things and simplify it for us!
