About Anis

I'm an LSE Economics graduate with first-class honours and 5 A* at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, Politics and the EPQ. I applied to top universities myself and received offers from LSE and UCL, so I know first-hand how demanding the process is and what admissions tutors look for. I focus only on Maths, Economics and personal statements, which means my teaching is specialist, exam-board precise and built around real understanding rather than memorised methods. I'm patient, honest and encouraging, and my aim is for every student to leave a session with more clarity and confidence than they came with. Lessons are online, so I can work with students wherever they are.

About the lesson

I'm an LSE Economics graduate (first-class honours) with 5 A* at A-Level, including Maths, Further Maths and Economics, and I received offers from LSE and UCL with my own personal statement. My one-hour online lessons are for Year 12-13 and gap-year students applying through UCAS, especially for Economics and related courses. We start by identifying what makes you a distinctive applicant, then structure your statement around UCAS's three-question format. I give honest, line-by-line feedback and explain every change, so you learn to improve your own writing, and it always stays in your voice. I can also share my own annotated statement so you can see exactly what worked.
