About Paola
My name is Paola I'm 22 years old currently living in London (camden area) for my masters program at UCL.
After having lived in Paris for 6 months as part of my Erasmus+ program with the University of Birmingham, (one of the best universities for language learning in the uk) I have achieved confidence and fluency in French. While it proved difficult at the start, my confidence and accuracy grew quickly through in person class presentations, (at Université Paris Diderot 7) making native french friends and writing essays in French.
This increased confidence and knowledge French has enabled me to confidently read, write and practise French in an accurate and 'native' way. After my year abroad, I noticed an incredible difference in my fourth year at the University of Birmingham. In my final examinations I achieved a first in my French speaking examination and a high 2:1 in my translation examination.

I will help with all things French ranging from grammar to pronunciation and intonation.
Classes will typically last for one hour, however if upon request a student requires extra time (close to a test date etc) two hours is applicable.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A level only. I have experience in helping out in GCSE classes in person, helping and guiding students with grammatical challenges and conjugations as well as providing tips for pronunciation and accent.
My teaching methodology will be interactive - the first half of the class will comprise of introducing the topic of the session, the second half will include interactive exercises in which i will provide guidance and advice, concluding finally with an overview of the class and any questions that remain, finishing with setting out homework tasks in preparation for the next session.
