About Sam
I'm Sam, a Physics and Computer Science graduate from Keele University, where I achieved First Class Honours. I'm about to start a Master's in Medical Physics, specialising in Cancer Radiation Therapy, at the University of Manchester. My degree involved hands-on projects, from a prize-winning ultrasonic sensing project to using deep learning to detect cancer cells in microscopy images. I enjoy breaking GCSE Maths, Physics, and Computer Science down into simple, confidence-building steps for students.

My lessons are built around past exam paper questions. Rather than giving answers outright, I guide students towards the solution through targeted questioning, so they develop real problem-solving skills rather than memorised steps, while covering the underlying concepts as we go. Sessions run for 50 minutes. I've volunteered as a programming tutor at my local library and have privately tutored Maths and Physics remotely for family and family friends. Lessons are aimed at GCSE students across Maths, Physics, and Computer Science.
