I am an engineer by profession. However I have also been working as a part time tutor since 2010. I have worked with a tutoring agency in Singapore, I have engaged in private tutoring, as well as in remote tutoring.

I generally go over the course material with my student first, during which I identify their weak areas. I then try to bridge the gap in knowledge. I follow up these sessions with testing material to ensure that the student is confident. If all is well I move to the subsequent topic. If not, I go back to the material and ensure that the student has a strong foundation prior to moving on to the next topic.
