About Omar

I understand how challenging year 11 and 12 is, especially with the content demands of a course like biology. I have always enjoyed teaching, and believe that having access to someone who believes in your ability to achieve, and has the knowledge to help you get there is crucial. I achieved a 95.00 ATAR and a 93/100 in HSC Biology in 2022. Since then I have achieved distinctions and high distinctions in subjects covering first-year general biology, as well as higher-level human biology, physiology, anatomy, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.

About the lesson

I believe that respect and encouragement of your natural abilities is the best way to achieve HSC success. I want to support your desire to learn and achieve! Teaching and learning is a team effort, I want to work with you, in the way that works best for you as an individual. One size certainly doesn't fit all and teamwork is the best way to help you achieve your goals!

I encourage my students to be proactive about their learning, and bring the things that they find challenging from class or personal revision to me for a more in depth analysis. In general, I like to focus on content for the first part of the lesson, and practice questions afterwards to consolidate our learning!

Perfect! Omar is a great tutor. He has been helping my son with HSC level biology. There has been significant improvement in my son’s marks since starting tutoring with Omar. My son reports that he is extremely knowledgable, but still relaxed in his approach. This makes the lessons enjoyable and easy to digest.
