About Dane
I am currently a first year University student, studying Commerce and Economics at the University of New South Wales. I attended Oakhill College in Castle Hill, completing my HSC in 2024. Here, I studied Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1, Economics, Business Studies, English Advanced, and Studies of Religion 2 Unit. I have a passion for learning and continuous improvement, that I reflect in my lessons. I am still involved at Oakhill as a volunteer basketball Coach, which has exponentially improved my leadership, mentoring and communication abilities. Outside of academics, I am a passionate musician who plays both the piano and guitar. I also have been involved in sport my whole life, playing Rugby Union and Basketball for my school as well as closely following the NRL for my whole life.

Hi! I come to you to provide in-person lessons to HSC students (Years 11 and 12) in Mathematics Advanced in North West Sydney. I have completed the HSC for Math Advanced twice, once as an accelerated student in my penultimate year of High School, and once again in my final year of school. In both years, I achieved a band 6 in the course (92/100 and 96/100 respectively). My extensive knowledge of the syllabus allows me to cater each lesson to suit my client, providing enthusiastic, knowledgeable and supportive lessons based upon my proven and tested methods. My emphasis on breaking down complex ideas and problem solving helps refine understanding, building much needed confidence to maximize marks in the course. Lessons are taught in one hour sessions weekly, with negotiable days and times. I will come to you and am happy to extend lessons if wanted and can also include extra sessions in the lead up to Exams and in the school holidays. Cheers!
