About Matthaus
I am a first year veterinary student at Murdoch University and graduated from high school last year. I achieved an ATAR of 98.8 and received the biology award at my school, as well as obtaining high marks in human biology. I have a passion for biology and would love to share my studying tips and exam experience to help other students achieve their goals. I still know the syllabus very well, and have further experience with the topics from my first semester in Veterinary school.

My teaching method is to first identify what weakness and strengths the student has surrounding particular topics. After we have identified these, I can create some personalised notes and tools we can use to go over these topics in order to ensure we obtain a conceptual understanding as opposed to a superficial one. My study method is to make things relatable, and to learn concepts as opposed to memorise textbook answers. Because with an understanding of broader concepts, biology is much more accessible and easy to learn.
