About Santiago
Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina, I spend my days listening to the rich vibrations of nylon strings. You might catch me humming a melody while adjusting my tuning pegs. I guide players through POWER CHORDS, reading sheet music, lead guitar, reading tabs, and the complexities of improvisation and soloing.
Growing up, I found my voice through these rhythmic patterns and now I share that history with you. It is quite rewarding to see students find their own sound in the spaces between notes.

Sometimes I start a session by fumbling with a metronome until the tempo feels just right. My studio is a space for exploring the tactile nature of your instrument based on 13 years of experience.
We move through technical drills to build your foundation before getting to the music. You will find that my approach to teaching relies on the formal training from my degree. It is about steady growth rather than instant perfection. If you want to refine your playing, feel free to reach out for a time to talk.
