About Heather
Qualifications include:
• Completed grade 4 piano (classically trained), Grade 6
theory.
• Certificate IV in Teaching & Assessment
• Diploma of Music
• I am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education,
majoring in special needs and music.
Experience:
• I have played for 30 years
• I have sung in choirs throughout my whole life.
• I have experience writing, recording and performing a few
songs and have played in a band.
• Volunteer experience working with children in my church
community programs for 17 years, as a conductor, primary
music director and pianist.
• Teaching the piano/keyboard to students from age 5 to 21,
some with special needs.
• As a teacher's aide, a swim teacher, nanny and disability
support worker for 15 years.

Hi, my name is Heather.
I will be taking on beginners to learn the piano or keyboard.
Times available: Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm.
I can be flexible with hours if needed and will tailor the lessons to each student's stage of development.
Rate: $40-50 for half an hour.
