About Emily
I am a college student who LOVES Spanish and loves to teach. I play basketball with UCD and study Biomedical Science while tutoring Spanish. I've lived and worked in Spain for a summer and have also been on a Spanish exchange when I was younger, living with a Spanish family and so I am truly passionate about the language and the Spanish culture. I know exactly what it takes to succeed in the exam and how to prepare the student to give the examiner what they want to see from a student, in order to reward them with full marks.

- Main focus is on the exam papers, preparing the student for the layout of the exam. - During grinds we will dissect a particular section of the exam and work through it, ensuring that the student is confident in a particular section/question in the exam before moving on to the next question. - While working through exam papers, we build on their vocabulary by choosing a particular topic each week such as animals/food/family/school etc., and ensure that they are more confident with that particular range of vocabulary by the end of the session. - Additionally, I work through grammar for part of the session. - Duration of lesson: 1 hour - I've been a tutor for 2 years - Junior cycle, Leaving certificate, first-time learners, all ages.
