About Chris
Classical flute and music theory AMEB exams to Conservatorium standard . Branched out to rock bands, session flutes for recordings. Since the mid 1990s, I have been teaching flute students, both adults, learning as a hobby and classical AMEB students up to VCE level. Currently performing live in Wild Orchids and the Weeds.

My teaching method is 'hands on'. The student plays for me and I listen and give advice. Sometimes I play for my student to show how he/she could improve. The lesson structure depends on the level of skill already achieved, the type of student: learning for fun or trying to do well in exams.
