About Freddy
I'm a 19-year-old student currently studying Computer Science and Psychology with the Open University. I previously studied flute for a year at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD), but I've since chosen to approach music more flexibly while offering tutoring. I come from a musical family (my mum is a piano and singing teacher) so I have access to a well-equipped and practical teaching space that we can make the most of during lessons.

In my lessons, I like to understand your goals for flute playing. This helps me tailor the lesson style and intensity so you get the most out of our time together. Lesson length will depend on your level and typically increases as you progress. For example: beginners (Grade 1–3) might start with 20-minute sessions, while more advanced students (Grade 6+) usually benefit from hour-long lessons. I prefer not to teach complete beginners, but I’m happy to teach students of any age and ability level from around Grade 1 upwards. I have experience working with a Grade 7 student and am confident teaching up to Grade 8.
